  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 large bunch fresh basil, sliced chiffonade
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

For the Crostini

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1–2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried oregano
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

For Serving

  • 2 balls fresh burrata
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh cracked black pepper
  • Crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

Marinate the Tomatoes

Combine the cherry tomatoes, red onion, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, grated garlic, honey, basil, oregano, kosher salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.

Mix well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Overnight is even better.

Toast the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Toss the sliced baguette with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, kosher salt, and cracked pepper.

Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes until lightly golden.

Don’t over-toast the bread. You’re looking for crisp edges with a slightly tender center—not homemade croutons.

Assemble the Board

Transfer the marinated tomatoes to a serving bowl.

Arrange the toasted baguette, burrata, and prosciutto around the tomatoes.

Finish the burrata with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, cracked black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
