Big Mac Tacos
Quick weeknight dinner with a twist — and a total family favorite
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef (90/10)
- Burger Seasoning (House Seasoning listed belwow)
- Carb Balance flour fajita tortillas
- Sliced Velveeta cheese
- Diced onion (for topping)
- Shredded iceberg lettuce (for topping)
- Hamburger pickles
- Big Mac Sauce (see below)
Instructions
- Portion about 1/8 lb of seasoned ground beef and press directly onto a flour tortilla.
- Cook on the Blackstone, meat side down, for 8–10 minutes until browned and crisp.
- Flip, turn off the heat, and lay down a slice of Velveeta to melt.
- Transfer tacos to a holder and top with diced onion, shredded lettuce, hamburger pickles, and Big Mac sauce.
- Serve with tots and extra pickles on the side. These are always a hit!
House Seasoning (Optional but highly recommended)
Use this on veggies, eggs, burgers — anything.
- 1 part onion powder
- 1 part garlic powder
- 1/2 part black pepper
- 1/4 part kosher salt
Mix and store in an airtight container or shaker.
Homemade Big Mac Sauce
Our go-to for burger night
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup mayo (we use Mike’s Amazing)
- 2 tbsp dill pickle relish
- 1 tbsp finely minced onion
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth and well combined.
- Chill for at least 2 hours to let flavors meld. Stir or shake before serving.
Notes & Tips:
Makes about 3/4 cup. Keeps in the fridge up to 2 weeks. Also great as a dip for fries or spread for grilled sandwiches.
